Hello and welcome! This June, TSOLife made some enhancements to the platform that are designed to improve functionality of key features and optimize important workflows. So, without further ado, let's take a look at what's new and what's been updated!
Exciting Quality of Life Enhancements!
The foundation of TSOLife is built on improving the quality of life for residents of senior living communities. With this release, we've made that foundation even stronger.
The Quality of Life (QoL) feature has received stunning visual upgrades across the platform for the community and corporate levels. Rest assured, the way these metrics are calculated remains the same, so there's nothing to relearn. Instead, you'll be able to enjoy a new interface where the QoL data is easy to locate, interpret, and understand...and includes tooltips!
For a quick QoL refresher, check out the Quality of Life Assessments Index and Quality of Life Overview.
Quality of Life Dashboard (Community Level)
If we cruise over to Resident Insights > Quality of Life, the main QoL dashboard at the community level has been infused with a modern interface, tooltips, and insight to what these figures mean. With these enhancements, you'll now have more interactive data for the following QoL metrics:
- Self-Rated Quality of Life (srQOL)
- Self-Rated Health (srH)
- Brunnsviken Brief Quality of Life (BBQ)
- Average BBQ Score by Area
Clicking into the graphs will provide more specific data for each resident of that particular score. Check out the Quality of Life Dashboard Walkthrough for more in-depth information!
Residents with Partial Data
For any number of reasons, sometimes resident data is incomplete. This new section of the community-level QoL Dashboard lists the residents with partial data for a specific metric. As all QoL questions need to be answered to formulate an accurate result, residents with incomplete questionnaires are excluded from the metrics.
This new section makes it a breeze to locate the information and figure out a plan of action:
Quality of Life Dashboard (Corporate Level)
Located in Insights > Quality of Life, the updates to the corporate QoL Dashboard are very similar to the community level, but we wanted to point out a few additional surprises.
The new Community Comparison view for srQoL, srH, and BBQ allows corporate users to easily rank and compare community performance. Clicking within the graphs for one of these metrics will open a chart displaying the percentage of residents at each community that fall within the selected rank:
Additionally, the new Corporate QoL Comparison feature allows organizations to easily pinpoint differences between the highest and lowest performing communities:
Resident Profile
Individual resident profile QoL data has also received a facelift. If we head over to Accounts > Residents and select a profile, you'll notice a couple things. First, current assessment scores (srQOL, srH, and BBQ) will appear at the top of the profile:
Second, QoL data is now displayed in a much cleaner format, complete with trends, tooltips, and a presentation that makes the number easier to digest and understand:
You'll notice that there is a Trends button in each QoL metric. Clicking this button will open a graph that presents how each of these figures have changed over time:
Check out Accessing Quality of Life Scores from the Resident Profile for more in-depth information!
Friendship Recommendations
When creating friendship matches for residents based on their QoL scores, you'll notice some small enhancements that capitalize on quickly identifying opportunities.
Access Accounts > Residents > Resident's Profile and scroll down to the BBQ Area Performance and Breakdown section. Next, click on the Details button for an Area of Improvement. This will present the updated recommendations where you can see the total number of matches based on a common interest as well as five friendship suggestions that you can create an opportunity for:
Dining Calendar Updates
Seconds, anyone? We've expanded the Dining Calendar so it can now support more than 11 menu items per meal. In fact, each location can now support up to 33 meal items! This enhancement will provide communities with greater flexibility when managing and publishing dining menus:
But that's not all.
We've also injected the interface with some smooth new improvements, including a legend, collapsible setting menus, and the introduction of the Service Days feature.
Service Days provides dining locations with the ability to offer varying days of operation for different meals. To check this feature out, visit Engagement > Dining Calendar > Dining Settings:
Printing capabilities have also been expanded, allowing communities to generate weekly menus in addition to the existing daily menu option. To support these enhancements, a corresponding Fire TV update has been released, enabling Digital Signage displays to showcase a greater number of menu items for residents and visitors.
Additional Enhancements
- Meet the Team screens now display sharper color themes for darker and lighter palettes.
- Improved load times while navigating the calendar.
- Added a horizontal scroll bar to calendars to better support small screen sizes and larger browser zoom settings.
