Quality of Life scores and data are readily available within each individual resident's profile. In addition to this information, you can also build opportunities and manage engagement plans in an effort to improve a resident's overall quality of life.
To access a resident's profile, head over to the main navigation menu and select Accounts > Residents. Click the Details button of the resident whose profile you want to view.
Included with the general profile information are the resident's most recent QoL scores. This includes:
- Self-Rated Quality of Life (srQOL)
- Self-Rated Health (srH)
- Brunnsviken Brief Quality of Life (BBQ QOL)

Scrolling down, we'll find the profile Forms and Top Resident Matches:
Forms:
- General Form: Information about who the resident is, their hobbies and interests, family, and life experiences.
- Resident Engagement Form: Chisels the resident's profile information to more specific chunks that can then be utilized to build personalized engagement plans.
- Care Profile Form: Filters the information a bit more to list personal routines and habits.
- Dining Profile Form: Dietary information.
Top Resident Matches
The system will find common interests and backgrounds and assess who may be an ideal friend match. The number in the match's profile picture represents the percentage of interests that the two have in common. So, in the above example, of all of the interests listed in their profiles, Arthur and Hank have 25% in common.
Scrolling down a bit further, we'll find the Quality of Life section:
Quality of Life Scores
These are the three figures that appear at the top of the resident profile based on the most recent data. Clicking the Trends button will present a graph of how these scores have changed over time for the resident:
BBQ Area Performance and Breakdown: This section details the areas of the BBQ where the resident's life is stable and where they could use some assistance.
Areas of Improvement: These BBQ domains are where the resident scored the lowest, with the most critical being listed first. This is where you can start examining ways to create opportunities for improvement.
Stable Areas: These BBQ domains are where the resident scored the highest and/or rated as less important.
The Social Determinants of Health (SDOH): These are three questions during the interview process that are approved by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) that assess an individual's non-medical factors that are affecting their life and health. This includes: Isolation, housing stability, access to food, and transportation.
Assessments: Continuous list of the resident's Quality of Life assessments. Clicking Details will open the assessment for closer examination.
Engagement Plans: Continuous list of the resident's engagement plans, which are tailored for improving the quality of life for this particular individual. Check out Resident Engagement Plans for more information.
