Resident App Overview (3:53 Runtime)
The Resident App is a centralized hub for residents to always stay connected within their community and enjoy a more personalized and engaging experience. Available for download via the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, residents will be able to:
- Send and receive messages from community staff and residents
- View a snapshot or complete calendar of community events
- Explore and register for community activities and events
- Receive community announcements
- Receive notifications about community updates
- Provide real-time feedback of community experience
Resident App Home Screen
The Resident App's home screen includes a variety of features that may vary depending on your community's configurations. Directly from the home screen, residents can enjoy messaging, announcements, event calendars, transportation calendars, dining calendars, a photo gallery, offer feedback, and more.
Tapping the three horizontal lines in the upper left-hand corner of the screen (aka the hamburger menu) will present a list of the available features for this community's Resident App.

Notifications
Tapping the bell icon will open the Notifications list. In this list, residents will find trip requests and cancellations, event invitations and reminders, dining updates, and more. Tapping into each notification will present more information on each item in the list.
Messages
Messages offer residents a way to directly communicate with community staff and also provides an outlet for messaging with other residents.
The threads are listed in the order of when the most recent message was sent. Tapping the + icon will open a new thread where the resident can message the community's staff or select a resident from the directory.
Stars beside the avatars indicate that these two residents are "friends" on the app.

Calendar
The calendar menu presents two views:
- Calendar: This is the community calendar of events that the resident can browse and pick and choose what to sign up for. Tapping into the event will provide specific information about the activity as well as a list of attendees.
- My Calendar: This is a personal calendar of events that this particular resident has signed up for. Tapping into the event will provide specific information about the activity as well as a list of attendees.

Resident Directory
The Resident Directory offers a listing of residents within the community, whether or not they are currently utilizing the Resident App.
Note: Residents in the directory who are not utilizing the Resident App will have the text "not an app user" accompanied beside their names.
Tapping into a resident profile in the directory will present additional information:
- Contact Information: Apartment number, phone number, and email address.
- Call: Residents can call each other if a phone number is listed. This is accomplished through the mobile device's phone.
- Send a Message: Opens a private messaging thread.
- Friend: Residents will be able to see which activities their marked friends are attending within the calendar. Friends will also appear at the top of attendance lists.
- Invite to Custom Event: Will present the option to invite the resident to a previously created custom event or provides the option to create a new custom event.
- Block this Resident: Restricts the selected resident from contact.

Announcements
Announcements are quick tidbits of information that the community can deploy directly to a resident's fingertips. This includes events and activities, holiday greetings, community updates, maintenance, and more. Tapping into the announcement will open specific details about the message.

Photo Gallery
The Photo Gallery contains images that have been uploaded by community staff. Residents can be tagged upon upload. In the above example, these are the photos that this particular resident has been tagged in.

Provide Feedback and Surveys
The Provide Feedback and Surveys features are an opportunity for your community to solicit ideas, suggestions, and concerns from residents.
- Provide Feedback: Contains the General Feedback Survey, which can be filled out anytime and is also accessible via the Surveys tab. This survey contains questionnaires about different community departments and includes numerical rating scales and open-ended questions.
- Surveys: Houses different surveys to proactively collect feedback from residents. This could include move-in and move-out surveys, quarterly surveys, 30-day surveys, and annual surveys.

Community Documents
Community Documents includes content that is important for residents to readily have access to. This could include welcome packets, community policies, menus, and more. These documents could be provided directly from the community or corporate leadership.

App Settings
Available at the bottom of the main navigation menu, residents can configure their app with a few customizable options:
- Update My Profile Details: Residents can update their phone number and email address. These items will appear in the Resident Directory.
- Mobile Notifications: Residents can configure whether or not they receive push mobile notifications from their community.
- Resident Directory Visibility: Residents can determine whether or not their profile is visible or hidden from the Resident Directory.
- Change My Password: Residents can update their password. Entering the current password is not required.
- Delete My Account: If desired, residents can delete their account from the Resident App. Their data will still be available for community staff on the Web App, but their account within the Resident App will be removed.
