Accessing Community Announcements
From the Home Screen of your app, click on the “Announcements” button
Accessing Community Announcements
Here a list of community announcements will display. These are organized with the most recent announcement at the top. Any unread announcements will have an “unread” tag above them. To read an announcement, click on the arrow next to the desired announcement:
Interacting with Community Announcements
A new page with the announcement information will appear. On this page you can view the following:

- Announcement title
- Date and time of announcement
- Body text of announcement

If the announcement has any supporting information such as a hyperlink, you will be able to access these on the announcement page by clicking on the desired area.
In this example, the community has added a hyperlink to this announcement, the hyperlink is listed as “Sign Up Here”, click these words and you will be redirected to a new page in your browser.
If the announcement has any supporting information such as a PDF document, you will be able to access these on the announcement page by clicking on the desired area.
If you have an Apple phone, the PDF will download to your files. Refer to this user guide to access the files section on your iPhone or iPad. This image showcases what a file looks like when opened on your apple device.
If you have an android phone, the PDF will download to your files. Refer to this user guide to access the files section on your android device. This image showcases what a file looks like when opened on your android device.
To exit the announcement, click the black “x” on the top right of your screen.
You will then arrive back at the announcement list. To return to the homepage of your Resident App, click the black arrow on the top left of your screen.
Notifications of New Announcements
If you have mobile notifications turned on, you will receive a push notification to your phone when your community has a new announcement.
If you do not have mobile notifications turned on, you will receive a notification within your Resident App under the bell icon
