Greetings and salutations! This February, TSOLife made a series of exciting updates and enhancements to the platform. This article will provide an overview of what's new, highlight updated functionality and workflows, and will include a list of additional enhancements that were addressed in the release.
Introducing TSOLife Games
Let the games begin! Yes, you read that correctly: TSOLife is proud to introduce a brand-new series of interactive games for community residents to enjoy as individuals or in groups.
**As a note, the TSOLife Games feature is *only* available through the Wellness Bundle. Please contact your customer success manager to learn more about enabling this exciting feature for your community!
Also, to ensure proper functionality, please advise residents to update their app to the latest version.
Found in the Resident App and the Resident Web Experience, this exciting release features endless hours of entertainment with the following games now available:
- Jewel Match
- Blackjack
- Memory Match Game
- Slots
- Solitaire
- Spider Solitaire
- Bingo
- Jigsaw Puzzle
- Rhythm
- Word Search
Accessible via a desktop computer, tablet, or mobile device, games will open in a new browser. If a resident is accessing the games from the Resident App, it is important for them to hold the phone horizontally for the entire screen to display as normal.

Announcements Receive a Mini-Makeover and Fresh Functionality
The interface of Announcements has received some upgrades plus a couple functionality enhancements.
Main Announcements Page
Now when you land on the main Announcements page, you'll notice that you'll be able to sort through content utilizing the newly-added filters:
The new filters include:
- Status: Scheduled or Delivered.
- Audience: All, Family, Residents.
- Care Types: Assisted, Independent, Memory Care, Custom
- Search: Enter criteria or keywords to browse announcements. This cracks down on having to aimlessly scroll through hundreds of announcements to find what you're looking for.
A new sorting option has also been added to the Status and Scheduled Delivery columns.
New Announcement/Announcement Details
When you select New Announcement to create new content, you'll notice the interface looks cleaner. Rest assured, all of the usual fields remain intact:

The preview screen has also been upgraded with sizable sneak peeks of how the notification will appear:
Schedule Announcement
The new interface is great, but wait...there's more! When scheduling announcements, you can now deploy the notification as a one-time instance as usual or, with these new updates, you can schedule multiple instances of an announcement:
In the above example, this community is deploying a weekly announcement 24 hours in advance of planned plumbing maintenance. This feature cuts down on having to create new announcements for recurring events, and you may add as many instances as you like.
Editing Actions
On the main Announcements page, you will find new buttons in the Actions column for Edit, View, and Schedule:
- Edit: Return to the Announcement Details editor to alter the content. Only available if the announcement has not yet been delivered.
- Schedule: Review the scheduled dates and times of the announcement and/or directly return to the Edit Schedule page to alter the content. Only available if the announcement has not yet been delivered.

View: Review the content of a previously deployed announcement.
Note: You can edit and resend an announcement using this feature, but the previous announcement will remain in your dashboard.
Enhancement for Corporate Compliance Filters
You will notice that when working in the compliance rules dashboard of the corporate portal, you can now select multiple communities from the filter menus:
Mandatory "Feng Shui" Update
We like to doll things up every now and then, so for this round of updates, you'll notice that when printing monthly calendars, the Customize button is now a lovely shade of "somewhere-under-the-sea-green." The functionality of the button remains the same:
Additional Enhancements
- Calendars have been updated with faster load times for creating events, care level filters, and all day events.
- Scheduling and editing events within the Staff App has been optimized.
- Enhanced printing text fields for better performance.
- Updated newsletter default text for cleaner overrides.
- Updated start time functionality for Fire Sticks on Digital Signage.
- Updated visibility functionality of resident profiles in the Resident App.
