Digital Signage on the TSOLife Website
On the TSOLife website, navigate to Engagement and select Digital Signage. Here you will have full access to edit, create, and control your Digital Signage, with custom options for announcements, photo galleries, weather, meeting the team, and holidays:
How to Create a New Screen
Click on the New Screen button as detailed below:
Then, choose the screen type you wish to have displayed on the TV, and click next and follow the prompts, and hit Save:
The following are brief rundowns of what you can accomplish on the above screen:
Announcements
- Fill in Title, Announcement, and add a Photo, click Next.
- Choose the template you would like to have displayed, click Next.
- Choose the TVs you would like this announcement to display on and schedule the duration of the announcement, click Next.
- Preview the announcement details, and click Complete.
Photo Gallery
- Choose the template you would like to have displayed, click Next.
- Drag and drop a JPG or PNG or click on the icon in the bottom right to upload photo from your computer or use the stock photo gallery, click Next.
- Choose the TVs you would like the photos displayed on, click Next.
- Preview the photo details, and click Complete.
Local Weather
- Choose the template you would like to have displayed, click Next.
- Preview the weather screen, click Next.
- Choose the TVs you would like the photos displayed on, click Next.
- Preview the weather screen details, and click Complete.
Meet Team
- Choose the template you would like to have displayed, click Next.
- Drop in photos, add Names and Titles.
- Choose the TVs you would like the photos displayed on, click Next.
- Preview the meet the team screen details, and click Complete.
Holiday
- Choose the template you would like to have displayed, click Next.
- Add holiday card title and body.
- Choose the TVs you would like the photos displayed on, click Next.
- Preview the holiday screen details, and click Complete.
Birthday
- Choose the template you would like to have displayed, click Next. You can choose to display a single resident, a single resident with a photo, or multiple residents.
- Give the slide at title and enter a customized birthday message. You can also update the font size and color.
- Choose the TVs you would like the photos displayed on, click Next.
- Preview the birthday screen details, and click Complete.
PDF to Signage
- Choose the PDF you would like to display on your signage. Only the first page of the document will be visible.
- For best results, use a 16:9 (landscape) or 9:16 (portrait) design.
- Choose the TVs you would like the photos displayed on, click Next.
- Preview the PDF to Signage screen details, and click Complete.
How to Use Group Screens with Digital Signage
Streamline the Digital Signage process by creating groups for your devices that tailor to your community's needs.
How to Create a New Screen
Click on Create Group from the main Digital Signage screen:
At the following screen, fill in the Group Name, Location, and Description, and select Next:
On the following screen, select the devices you wish to add to your group by clicking the check box in the top right corner of each device you want to add or clicking Select All in the top right corner if you wish to select all devices to add them to the group. Click Next when ready:
You will then be taken to an Overview screen to review the details of the group and the device you’re adding. When all looks well, click Complete to formalize the grouping.
How to Edit Current Screens
On the main Digital Signage page, choose the TV that you are wanting to edit and select the Edit button:
You'll be able to edit the following:
- Default Screens: ability to toggle on and off
- Custom Screens: delete screens, toggle on and off, edit the content and change the schedule by clicking on Edit Options
- Calendars: toggle calendar views on and off
