Step-by-Step Instructions to Set Up Fire TV
Click here for Amazon's instructions on how to Set Up Fire TV Stick. Once you have set up your Fire Stick, follow the instructions below:
Turn Off “Still Watching”
Step 1: Visit System Preferences
From the Fire TV home screen, press the menu button to access the system settings dashboard. Then select Preferences.
Step 2: Click on "Data Usage Monitoring"
Navigate to Data Usage Monitoring in the preferences menu.
Step 3: Turn Data Usage Monitoring to Off
On the Data Usage Monitoring screen, toggle this setting to Off.
Downloading the TSOLife App
Once your device is set up, navigate to the app store, search for TSOLife, and download the app (see app icon below):
Logging In
After downloading, log in with your TSOLife credentials (the same username and password you use for the website and mobile app):
Setting Up Your Screen
Once logged in, you will be prompted to select your display settings. We recommend naming the display based on the location of the device within the community (i.e., a TV in your community’s lobby may be named ‘Lobby’). You can update the name of the device later on your TSOLife web dashboard.
Below the Display Name, you can select the calendar views you wish to display on this particular device. These calendar views will automatically show any events present on your calendar within the TSOLife platform. These settings, along with other selections and configurations, can be changed/maintained through the TSOLife website.
Managing Digital Signage
On the website, navigate to Engagement and click on Digital Signage. Here, you will have full access to edit, create, and control your Digital Signage.
