Tips for Quality of Life Questions

TSOLife Minerva is a first-of-its-kind resident insights platform leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) to create powerful dashboards with a suite of information for staff to put resident knowledge into practice. At TSOLife, we digitize your resident profiles, provide actionable insights, and fuel decision-making in your community.

Important things to remember:

  • All Quality of Life questions are presented in bold on the questionnaire. To achieve a complete Quality of Life score, it’s essential that every question is asked and answered.
  • Consider incorporating a numeric scale for responses: “On a scale from 0-4, how satisfied are you with your leisure time?” Here, 0 means you are not satisfied, and 4 indicates that you are very satisfied.
  • To enhance your comfort and confidence, it might be helpful to have a team member or resident ask you the Quality of Life questions.
  • Remember to ask each question one at a time for clarity and focus.
  • Think of these questions as helpful guidelines to support you during the interview. We understand that some of these questions may be new, so it’s a good idea to bring a printed copy with you.
  • As you progress through the questions, you’ll likely become more comfortable, allowing for deeper and more meaningful conversations.
  • Keep the conversation natural—feel free to skip around the questions if that feels more organic. Just be sure to revisit any sections you might have missed.
  • Don’t hesitate to dig deeper with follow-up questions like, “Can you tell me more about that?”
  • Sharing your own experiences can also create a welcoming atmosphere for the resident.
