The TSO Life Engagement Platform allows you to create and maintain activities programming through our Calendar feature. Please navigate to the Engagement Dropdown → Calendar → Filters (and then filter by specified care type).
Creating a Custom Calendar Event
Method 1: Using the Create Event Button

Click the Create Event button.

Fill in the Required Fields (indicated with *):
- Title: Choose a clear and concise title. Use the Description box for more details.
- Recurrence: Specify how often the event repeats:
- Does Not Repeat: One-time event.
- Daily: Occurs every day (e.g., Chair Yoga @ 9 AM).
- Weekly: Occurs weekly on the same day (e.g., Happy Hour every Friday @ 4 PM).
- Bi-Weekly: Every other week (e.g., Table Games every other Tuesday @ 3 PM).
- Weekdays: Monday-Friday (e.g., Morning Meditation @ 8:30 AM).
- Monthly: Once a month on a specific date (e.g., Townhall on the 1st @ 11 AM).
- Day of the Week (Monthly): Specific day each month (e.g., Food Council on the 2nd Wednesday @ 12:30 PM).
- Yearly: Once a year (e.g., Christmas Tree Lighting on Dec. 24 @ 5 PM).
- Starts At: Set the start date and time. Adjust the default date if necessary. For All Day Events, check the box.
- Event Type: Select the category that best reflects the activity (e.g., "Social" for Happy Hour). This impacts the Inclusion score.
- Care Level: Confirm or select the appropriate care type based on filters.

Fill in Other Fields (optional):
- Description: Details about the event (255 characters max).
- Location: Leave blank, select from existing locations, or create a new one.
- To create a new location: Type the name → select "Add item."
- Dimension: (If applicable) Related to community wellness. Leave blank if not applicable.

Select Create.
Method 2: Choosing a Suggested Event
- Access Activity Suggestions from the sidebar.
- Filter by:
- Group size
- Resident
- Quality of Life dimension
- Activity type
- Additional filters for unrepresented or new residents.
- Drag the suggested event to the desired timeslot.
- Update the fields as needed.
- Select Create.
Editing Events
- Click on the event you wish to edit.
- Click the Pencil button in the event information window.
- Make the desired changes.
- Click Update to save changes.
- Choose the appropriate edit option:
- Only this Event
- This Event and Forward
- All Events (overrides all occurrences; use cautiously).
